Pretty crazy. I'd ask how you play 9 other forwards more than your leading scorer...but now I don't have to wonder how they ended up relegated.

I can understand a couple guys getting more time because of PK duty or something, but yeah...that's pretty messed up.

10th among forwards toi with 15:20 per game
10th among forwards 5on5 with 13:16 per game
9th among forwards in pp with 1:50 per game
Barely played any bp, averaged 0:15 per game.

Didn't even realise until i saw it here. Yeah that's pretty messed up, good coaching lol

You'd think usage like that would make him more interested in playing in the AHL. Of course, it's also up to the Sabres if they wanted to bring him over next year. I'm cool with him playing one more year in the SHL but then I'd like to see this kid in North America.

Hopefully I'll get another look at him in rookie camp. He always stands out.

Or just on a team that's not completely terrible. But yeah, I'd like to see him come over to NA sooner than later.

Olofsson put Frölunda ahead 2-1 midway through the third period. It was one of those Vanek PP set pieces on the PP, aka camped in slot and gets a slap pass from Donovan to redirect.

@SabresProspects -

Camp underway in Buffalo. One prospect in action later today as Frölunda - Victor Oloffson - takes on Brynäs.

Looks like Olofsson starting to get more shifts as the game goes on. Currently under 9:00 of action mid-3rd as Frolunda trails Brynas 6-2.

Olofsson finishes minus-one - no shots on goal - 11:56 total on ice. Frolunda smoked by Brynas 7-2.

He had a slow start in Frölunda but is starting to produce now. But his ice time is quite limited, I think it is less than 14 min/game, Frölunda is reigning champions in SHL and CHL and top of the league this year as well so the fight for ice time is much harder than in MoDo where he was a top line player.

@SabresProspects - Wednesday, December 28 -

Victor Olofsson continues to heat up with another PPG to put Frölunda up 1-0 on Luleå.
Olofsson has points in four straight games - goals in the last three of four games.

Victor Olofsson is becoming a really compelling prospect for the Sabres.
He's become a PP specialist as five of his eight goals have been scored on the power-play). Quick trigger.
Olofsson goal looked familar. Motion in the zone, gets to his spot in RW circle. His teammates find him and he cashes with a quick release.

I really like him to make the Sabres in the future.

Me too. Any idea when he could get a shot? With our prospect depth, it will have to be hard for him to enter the mix unless he really makes a statement.

I think Olofsson needs to be in Rochester next season, for a full season. I think he'll need some time to adjust to NA ice size.

I think that's perfect too. Just as Moulson and Ennis are leaving, we've got talent ready to come up.

I like him to sign with the Amerks next year and people will start complaining that he is stagnating and not improving after only one year on NA ice. He will struggle next year, get streaky the following, and hopefully start to put it together the third year. He is 2 years away from call ups, IMO. Probably 3 unless we have a similar problem to the one we had.

Are you referring to Armia? I hope it does not take that long..... Would prefer to not wait until he's 25 to be ready for the NHL

Considering he was a 7th round pick, I'd be thrilled if he made the NHL at all.

He's still not exactly a can't miss prospect.
