Tongue firmly in cheekHow do we know that? Seems odd to know that type of thing about a prospect.

Pagan idolater to be exact.
Would Toronto's Andreas Johnsson's development path be a good comparable to what we want Olofsson's to be?
Spent up to D+3 years in Sweden
1 full year in the AHL (D+4), callup in year 2 (D+5).
Full time NHLer year 3 (D+6).
Olofsson spent an extra year in Sweden, but full time AHL this year with maybe a callup (D+5)
Battle for a spot next year (D+6)
Full time year 3 (D+7)?
Yes. If he gets one Timer passes he Will score goals like crazyWho/what is his ceiling at this point? If he's on Jack's wing, could he reasonably be a 30-40 goal scorer?

He never forgets his goat leggings.
I didn't know he played the pk, that's encouraging. As is this quote from Chris Taylor. The Rochester D&C did an article on Olofsson. It's a nice read.

“I thought it would be harder for him because he was used to more time to shoot the puck (in Sweden) and here there is less time,’’ Taylor said. “But he’s adjusted well. He’s hard to play against, he’s so physically fit, so he’s not getting bumped off the puck, he’s the one doing the bumping and making room for himself. He’s finding those good areas and making those areas for himself. He’s just so smart and loves to score goals.’’

They PK with 3 forwards?Taylor plays the role of a developmental coach and does it very well. He puts certain players in situations they normally wouldn't play in for the sake of improving at it. Their 1st PK unit is Olofsson, Redmond, CJ Smith, and Asplund. That's a pretty high scoring PK unit.
There are still a million combinations of lines to construct with the ~12 forwards we haveCan't believe he still hasn't gotten a call-up. What are they waiting for?

Knock on wood and if this is a jinx so be it, but this has been the most remarkably injury-free season I can remember in a very long time. There haven't been any spots to fill from the AHL, since we're obviously not moving anyone down for poor performance.March...of 2020.
I joke, but really, there seems to be little rhyme or reason as to how they handle the young players in BUF/ROC.
