Vegas:
Pulock
Ho-Sang
Kulemin

Islanders:
Neal
Perron

pretty bad for the isles. they arent giving up ho sang AND pulock for 20 games of a top 6 and top 9 winger

they gave vegas a haul already so they could keep pulock...

Not a bad offer for Vegas, Pulock will be 23 and JHS 22, but Vegas might want 2018 first round picks and NYI has 2.

"Not a bad offer for Vegas"

Hah. Surely you aren't suggesting NYI bend over further than they already are in this instance.

Kulemin only has 1 more left on his deal, he's not going to be that expensive to dump.

While the trade as is doesn't make sense, the basis makes a ton of sense.

Good, young, cost controlled prospects to Vegas for their older vets.

I would give up a lot to get Ho-Sang. I agree with a whole lot of Isles fans that he is going to be a killer top 6 winger.

They've done lots of deals like this before.

Also, Kulemin is in the deal in order to fit Neal on the wing for their roster.

Millbury did deals like this 13/14 years ago.
Snow does not. Snow is actually something of a prospect hoarder.
Really a fantasy proposal. Why don't the isles toss in Barzal for future considerations?:sarcasm:

Milbury is that you? Minus hosang and pulock and add clutter maybe. If isles add a 1st vegas would have to add their 1st

Isn't Pulock waiver eligible this year? If he doesn't solidify himself as a regular defenseman this season he doesn't necessarily hold a ton of value beyond this year. The value probably isn't as bad as Isles fans are making it out to be.

According to Staple, Pulock is expected to be on the nyi roster with Hamonic traded.

And yeah,it is ****** proposal for the nyi. They have two 1st and two seconds for the 2018 draft.
Silly to think they would look to move their top prospects who are nhl ready a and on ELCs, when they have multiple high picks in a strong draft,

A prospect hoarder because Spurgeon burnt him, but in the Vanek deal Snow threw away multiple picks.

Snow was a prospect hoaxer long before Spurgeon.

And in 2013 when Snow made the Vanek trade, his team owner was pushing him to aquire a big name to help sell tixs. Before the trade Newsdayreported the isles had no intention of meeting Moulson's contract demands.Isles gave up Moulson who they'd aqukred as aufa+1st+ 2nd. Then they put a huge 7 yr offer on the table for Vanek. They were not looking to rent Vanek.

Also we are told that this summer the isles offered Hamonic for two guaranteed years of Duchene. When that offer was rejected, they moved Hamonic for picks, hoping to use those high picks to land Duchene. Isles have refused to put their top kids on the trade table for two yrs of Duchene.
So, yeah I would say it is fantasy to think they would move Pulock or JHS alone for 20game rentals.
