Foley is old generally and Fleury is old hockey age so they aren't going to stop doing this for at least next season before they give it up. Us winning a bad pacific and having a mediocre team that gets to the WCF would only convince them more we are so close. But we aren't so close.

We're already a team that's incredibly constrained by cap. We shouldn't be in the habit of moving all our assets until we have no expendable ones left.

Blake has 30 other GMs to deal with. Getting a reputation of gouging your trade partners is bad business.

Holding out for a few more days to gouge suitors is bad business practice, and if they wait too long, there may not be any takers.

Offer sheet is “bad business practice” but it happens. I say get the most you can for your team and who cares what others think. As long as your employer is happy that’s the bottom line.

Yep. In this year's draft at least, 2nd rounders are valuable. Very deep draft.
