Sad day for me. He turned that Franchise into a powerhouse year after year in one of the smallest markets in the CHL

As someone who has been living in Brandon for the past few years now, I don't think it can be stated how much of Brandon Jared Jacobson owns. (In fact, one look at the J&G website and you'll see how much Jacobson has with regards to fingers in the pie) Seemed like only a matter of time before he owned the Wheaties too, even though I hadn't heard much through the grapevine in terms of selling until Marek insinuated it a little bit before the sale.

That being said, I really don't expect much to change. The Wheaties are beloved here, and it helps that they draw in a lot of families during the season from all across Westman with good, competitive ticket prices and being one of the best entertainment options in the area. I imagine that they'll continue with that, especially since Brandon represents one of the farthest outposts in the WHL, and a profitable one at that.
