This is laughable. The Bruins aren't giving up Halak for a guy they waived and another guy who was on waivers last year, let alone retaining salary.

I really don't see any scenario where the Bruins trade Halak. He's the best backup in the league and is good for 35+ quality starts per year.

Yeah doesn't make any sense at all for BOS. If they wanted Pirri they could get him for a 5th.

One of the smartest thing the Bruins did last year was play Halak a ton and have Rask rested for the playoffs. Doubt they would be interested in trading him, Subban is not a good backup.

Halak for a stretch last year was the best goalie in the league. He is lights out the best backup we have had in awhile, could be a starter on most teams. Bruins have Kyle Keyser, Swayman and Vlader in the wings. They are well stocked for goalies, Keyser is going be good. Halak may have been the best pickup from the Isles last year per dollar value.
