is he doing to be in line with future Red wing?
He certainly could be! Last summer, the Lafreniere-Veleno-Dach line was dominant. I don’t think Chicago is going to lend out Dach for the tournament, but we could potentially see Veleno on a line with Lafreniere.

Yeah Dach wont be going but Veleno with Lafeniere is going to be two thirds of Canadas top line, at least to start. I've seen some guys pencilling Rafael Lavoie in as the other winger there, some with Akil Thomas and Ive seen some Dylan Cozens. Either way that has the makings for the best line in the tournament. One wild card that I would like to see get a shot on that line is Alex Newhook after how he played n the u18s and how hot he has been in college right now. He can fly out there and is one of the more dynamic offensive guys out there. Not sure he even makes the team for sure but he could be a dark horse to play on that line and put up some points.

Veleno is likely going to be the captain as well at this point

I mean, what is location, really
This is going to be really good for Veleno. Even though he hasn't put up a ton of points, he's learned a lot in the AHL. He'll be able to put that to use against these kids and come back with some confidence. Could be just what he needs to get going in GR.

Mastrosimone was invited to the US camp. I doubt he makes it, still good for him to get the recognition as a D+1 player.
