Not sure if it's just me, but that guy seems to get sick more than anyone on the roster. Training staff needs to invest in some Vitamin C supplements and make everyone watch a video about washing their hands.

 "Instead of watching game footage, we've got this. Now watch closely how he uses the water AND the hand soap. Zach, no cheating on this one!"

Since this seems to be the "bash Heatley" thread more than the Zucker thread, here's some food for thought: If Heater's crazy hard shot on Saturday is a few inches lower and becomes the clutch game winner instead of a shot off the corner crossbar, how different is our opinion of him today?

What was Zucker doing in '07?

Not scoring 50 goals like a f***in' all-star.

heatley had a crossbar game two, and a disallowed goal the first game. he's seriously seconds and centimeters away from being a hero. still looks like a bad fit for the system almost everyone else seems to be playing correctly. but meh--he was a fill-in anyway, not a long-term solution to anything.

Zucker will come out motivated, but he needs to find a balance between what makes him electric and what keeps him out of the lineup...hopefully in his eagerness to please he doesn't create golden chances against.

Having a speedy left wing won´t exactly cover for a slow right wing.

If those shots go in, I stand by my assessment of Heatley as a special teams specialist who needs his minutes and matchups closely managed.

Honestly, I'd prefer Granlund-Koivu-Heatley and Parise-Coyle-Pominville as my top two lines, but with Coyle hurt we lack speed up the middle.

Zucker will get his time eventually. Let him get some confidence going down in Iowa for awhile.

Wouldn't mind seeing Haula get a look this season too.

I just find it funny how every time the team isn't playing well, we bring up Veilleux because he's a "sparkplug". Not saying it's a bad move, but I'd like to see them do it a little less often.

Think Zucker must still be nursing that groin injury. Didn't see any of his usual explosive speed at all last game. Without his speed you can see he clearly has a lot of work to do on his game. Good for him and the team to send him back to Iowa.
