Vehicle Flags - Year round or Playoffs only?

I went with the Oilers license plate, down here in Lethbridge it's Flamer fanbase so I love it out there for all to see year round haha!

I don't use flags, but I do have an Eskimos license plate and two discreet window stickers on the rear windshield.

Debate I'm having with a friend on whether or not there is a "code" or "rule" that you can only fly your team flag on your vehicle during playoffs. Claims that during the regular season is bad luck. I'm talking about the flags you stick on your window and becomes secured when the window is rolled up.

I see them all over the place in Vegas. Even during preseason. It's cringeworthy. I'm all for it in playoffs, though.

ANYONE can raise a flag for the playoffs--but when you are in 31st spot and still sporting the flag--you are a fan

Playoffs only. I would be okay with flying the flag if in a dog fight at end of year for last wild card spot.. flag up imo!
