Not usually a betting man, but since I want the Yotes to win the Grail while as the Phoenix Coyotes instead of the Arizona Coyotes, I think I'll actually take up those 66/1 odds, haha. :naughty:

ya...im not saying the Yotes should be 10/1 or anything...but honestly I think we are better than all these teams and they arent slightly ahead of us...they are FAR ahead according to Vegas...

The technical term is 'overlay', and, while subjective, I feel we are very much that at those odds.

That's what you're looking for in sports handicapping, as I understand it, overlays.

I think our odds and NYI odds are worth betting on.

I also think Columbus and Carolina are the other two longshots that could surprise people.

I wouldn't bet on florida or calgary though

Hedging bets on multiple favorites (ie: $100 each on CHI, STL, PIT) is a bet I almost always like. Mental math those 3 have a 42ish% chance of winning the Cup in those odds, which seems low. I feel like those 3 have a much better than 40% chance at the Cup and so that's a good bet.
