Vegas will come in and put on a show in Toronto. If our Leafs don't match their effort, they'll lose this game.

stars will probably mail it in for 50 minutes and pull out a win in the last 10 just like last night. Might work in the regular season, but it won't fly in the playoffs. Bottom 6, all the D not named Barrie or Rielly, and Freddie looked good last game, keep it up boys.

I'm actually excited for this. Vegas is a "tough" team and it will be nice to see if the Leafs show up.

I still have faith that the team has potential to be a lot better than they have been, but I haven't witnessed anything to think they will hit that potential any time soon.

There needs to be a complete culture shift when it comes to working hard. How we have Babs preaching that his whole time here, and the management goes out of their way to bring in guys to mentor who work hard, name the captain who works hard, and then these kids get paid and STILL can't put in an honest effort... It makes you wonder.

Vegas can play the game in any manner that they choose, usually a combination of grit and speed. A very good team indeed.

I wonder which Leaf will get steam rolled this time?

Freddie could steal it for us as he is heating up.

We outplayed LA pretty badly, and definitely had a good jump to our step. That gives me hope that they're turning the corner and heating up. I expect it to progress against Vegas.

Love your optimism. Honestly can't say I have the same amount. Too many heart breaks and I know the warnings signs enough now to not get emotionally invested. They have to earn that from me again.

Me too . Andersen plays we will win. I would play him the whole month to make up ground and build the teams confidence

Remarkably only Reilly Smith and Malcolm Subban are from Ontario on their roster. Still enough for a Smith Hatrick and a Subban shutout.

Sorry, I don’t see this going well.

I think Vegas can be beat us in a variety of different ways.

They can match us in skill and overpower is physically quite handily, and when push comes to shove, our guys always back down.

Would love to see some pushback from our guys but not holding my breath.

When Vegas is engage and playing well they are a treat to watch.
The fans and atmosphere in the building should be a huge advantage for the Leafs considering Vegas is accustomed to playing in front of raucous hockey mad crowd.
