It depends on what happens for the rest of this road trip.

Of course i hope they turn things around.

But if they keep on sucking during this road trip, then i just don't know anymore.

We have been giving up so many goals recently. Going down 3-0 in multiple games.

Our upcoming schedule coming up is difficult.

The Canes on Friday, who are always a tough team.
Predators on Saturday, who always give us trouble
The Lightning on Tuesday.
Then the Panthers on Thursday.

Could be the best thing for the team immediately after the season is over. I don't think I'm stressing about it.

Recalibrate the expectations and get a bona fide future star prospect or two.

If they win, they win and get in, of course I think I'd be happy about that but if they don't my expectations weren't for a Cup and we could try to reload next season.

We’re back to playing for 3rd place this season. This happened last season and it felt that way earlier in the season. Maybe if things turn around the team could finish in 2nd. I’ll be shocked to see a 1st place finish.
