First draft I've seen Jokiharju to the Rangers. We like.

Thomas/Vesalainen/Rasmussen/Timmins/Jokiharju over Poehling for the Sens easily.

Theres just not enough upside in Poehling, #3C at best.

At first glance: Makar, Hague, Foote are all too high imo

No way Liljegren drops to 17

Islanders happy to take Valimaki, but think Snow would take Liljegren if he were still available at 15.

CBJ also should be either 23 or 24 depending on where ANA finishes I think. i think the lowest possible spot we pick is 24.

I can't see Arizona taking Makar when Vilardi, Tippett, Mittelstadt, and Glass are all available.

Considering how defense heavy the Coyotes went in last year's draft, no appearances of a defender who truly stands out as #1 overall on D, and a lack of right handed shooters where Vilardi, Tippett, and Glass are all righties, I just don't see taking Makar over them.

I don't see Makar being that high, I can definitely see him being available at either #7 or #8 where Detroit more then likely picks but i would be happy with Casey Mittelstadt at #7 if he's available and Makar is gone when we pick.

I am guessing you are a Canucks fan because that is the only justification possible for Hischier slipping to 5.

No I hate the Canucks, but I am a fan who's very fair, I just pretend I'm in the mind of the GM and focus on the needs and best available for that need.

That or Philadelphia trades down and gives Vancouver their 2nd overall for their 5th overall. Philadelphia has Giroux, Schenn and Couturier down the middle, but they could use a RHD with Ghost.

If I knew how it was going to go with trades, it'd be much easier to predict.

Also if I wanted Patrick to go to any team in the league it'd be Vegas.

Schenn isn't a C anymore, he's a winger. Couturier slots in best at 3C. A 2C that will eventually swaps spots with Giroux and becomes 1C is a major need.

Regardless, I think Philly would go BPA instead of going off the board for a RHD.

Philly also has Meyers on deck with Gudas and Ghost already on the right side.

There is no way Hextall goes for Liljgren unless he trades back for an outstanding package.
