I appreciate you! Maybe it's just my sense of humor though. The only complaint is sometimes I can't tell when you're making a serious post like the post about today about Boudreau, and the Caps.

i play to a very very specific audience, thats for sure.

and i was serious about bruce. before he made the switch to 'defensive mode', (which may or may not have been at the order of GM) i feared the caps in a big way.

the most talented team does not always win the cup. its getting rarer and rarer, actually, as parity spreads. the team that wins/goes far is the team who gets hot at the right time. if his capitals got hot, scoring at will, at the right time, i really think they couldve won the east a few times.

especially when they nabbed joe corvo in 2009.

I still dont understand this.

My best guess is they figured they couldnt win the cup in a 5-4 fashion, but IMO they had/have a better path that way than in the 2-1 or 3-2 fashion they've been recently attempting.
