And yet again, yes, we're doing one more after this to make up for Clendening being traded.

Also, I can't help but laugh at the last choice. There are 5 or 6 guys left I'd easily take over Stewart. But then again you guys just might be trolling.

Kyle Pettit, 6'4 defensive forward. Hopefully his offensive comes along and he gets some better teammates and more ice-time this season with McDavid gone. Strome is still there though.

I posted this at the very tail end of the last round, so I'm inflicting it on everyone again . . . since my guy Blomstrand didn't win :(

"I actually think that several of the guys left on the list have a chance at a pro career. Neil, Gaudette, Pettit, and Stewart all seem to have a glimmer of hope. You know they want Stewart to succeed, so they'll give him every chance in the world. I kind of like the kid anyway. The others have skills or attributes that could possibly flourish . . . but no guarantees whatever.

My pick is Blomstrand. His K-Zoo scoring simply has to be recognized, and he always had the skating, size, and checking reputation. But who knew about his shot? At very least he's an intriguing prospect, who had good tools but was lost until he got sent to the Zoo, where Bootland straightened him out.

His progress on the Comets this year will be interesting to follow. Basically he's competing with Shinkaruk for LW eventually on the Canucks. Maybe with Gaunce as well. Pass the popcorn, please!"

Pettit all the way.

from Hockeysfuture: Long-term Pettit appears limited in terms of his offensive potential but his size, responsibility in the defensive zone and positional awareness suggests he can be a valuable lower line forward at the NHL level one day.

More than I can say for those who are left.

Think it'd be simpler to just move Stewart into Clendening's spot and remove him from the list.

I am fully happy to admit I threw away my vote on this one (having not voted the previous few votes, after seeing stewert up there. So I voted for the person with the best highlight reel from his NJ prep days.
