And before people keep on asking about it, we're going to do 26 prospects since Clendening was traded. No, I won't remove him from the list and bump everyone up because if someone clicks the poll% win for a prospect, it goes to the thread they won and I don't feel like editing every single thread.

Pettit again, I feel like he's going to have an awesome year with Erie, expected to center one of their top lines. Will be good development considering that he's been a defensive specialist so far.

My real choice is Blomstrand, but I'm voting Gaudette just so that bum Mackenzzzz Stewart doesn't win.

Are we doing 2 more votes after this because Clendening was traded? I think we should.

Voted for Blomstrand, but only because 30 goals, even in the ECHL, isn't too shabby.....but if he doesn't make Utica's roster this fall, then he's off the list altogether.

Voted Blomstrand. Couldn't have asked for a much better year in the ECHL. Should make the AHL club.

this one's going to be a photo finish...you can cut the tension with a knife...:D

Voted for Blomstrand here, think he's got all the physical tools to be a good pro but is a late bloomer.

Mackenze Stewart is winning.

Not only is he a huge longshot like all the rest, but he's a longshot to become a type of player that doesn't have a place in today's NHL game.

Nice story though, and he's good in practice.

When Mac Stew eats his first AHL player in a fight after taking some speedy players head off with a devastating hit you'll see why he's ranked 24

By the way Benning should be fired.

Or when he still can't make a pass, shoot or play the game of hockey at the AHLlevel, well see why he shouldn't be signed to a contract

I actually think that several of the guys left on the list have a chance at a pro career. Neil, Gaudette, Pettit, and Stewart all seem to have a glimmer of hope. You know they want Stewart to succeed, so they'll give him every chance in the world. I kind of like the kid anyway. The others have skills or attributes that could possibly flourish . . . but no guarantees whatever.

My pick is Blomstrand. His K-Zoo scoring simply has to be recognized, and he always had the skating, size, and checking reputation. But who knew about his shot? At very least he's an intriguing prospect, who had good tools but was lost until he got sent to the Zoo, where Bootland straightened him out.

His progress on the Comets this year will be interesting to follow. Basically he's competing with Shinkaruk for LW eventually on the Canucks. Maybe with Gaunce as well. Pass the popcorn, please!
