well, we know the old prospects of ours still on the list aren't going anywhere. The new picks are still a crap shoot, so pick one. :sarcasm:

I'm going with TateO's cuz the name.

It's getting harder now.

Went with Blomstrand since I haven't heard much negative about him, he got 33 goals in 50-something games last year with Kalamazoo, he seems like a good two-way player with a decent work ethic, and he's a Swede. ^_^

Cederholm is also a really good pick, so it's a toss up between them, I think.

Voted for Gaudette for the last couple. Sounds like more of a prospect than the assortment of pylons left otherwise.

Same.

He sounds like McCann-lite, but could very well be Patrick White.

Sounds like a guy cut from the Kenins/Hansen speedy energy 3rd liner cloth, although he plays center.

Was ranked around ~150 by most scouting services and scouting reports look pretty good. Look forward to seeing how he fares in the NCAA this year.

Would definitely rate him ahead of the pile of dreck we're left with otherwise at this point.

McCann-lite is probably unfair.

McCann is an offensive prospect with a well developed 200ft game.

Seems as though Gaudette is the opposite.

We know Jimbo is going to be keeping tabs on him, as his nephew Matt will be entering his Junior season at Northeastern.

Doesn't sound as if he's too speedy though, but he's a hardworker and seems to bring energy. Should be interesting to keep track of.

We're into the 20's now.

Not sure who'd I vote for here if I could.

Lightweight two way forward is all I was basing it on, I just liked what I read about his penchant for never being on for a goal against.

Longshots obviously at this point, but still some guys to at least have some hope for. Can't ask for more.than that this late in the poll.

Voted Stewart cuz I think he'll at least get a cup of coffee based on his size/skating/toughness. But there's still 3 or 4 guys worth a vote imo.

For sure, his elite prospects profile is a good read and gives hope.

An intense, hard-working forward who shows a lot of character in not backing down under adversity. A mobile and edgy skater, but needs to improve his explosiveness with the puck. Makes smart plays under pressure, never wanting to make a mistake; sometimes a bit too careful, holding onto dead plays, but this is not a problem that will be hard to curb. Likes to go hard to the nets. Needs to get stronger and more physically astute along the boards. Never backs down and never gives up; he thrives under adversity and pressure, and finds ways to come up big in the game's critical moments. All-in-all, a forceful two-way forward that can be counted on for stability and energy when his team is lacking the spirit to surge forward. (Curtis Joe, EP 2015)

Cederholm because I think he actually has a future in the NHL. Easily comparable to Bieksa.

Cederholm is nothing like Bieksa in any way. They are pretty much exact opposites.

Rob Davison, maybe.

On a side note, is Rob Davison the most anonymous player ever to spend a full season as a Canuck?

I voted Cederholm, because all of the prospects left that are unlikely to make it, he is the least unlikely.

I'd think that Carl Neill would start to get votes here as well - from what I've read it seems like he has potential to improve and move up the list as a 2-way defenceman.

If Cederholm becomes #22, I'll vote for Neill next.

Naw, there was that one time he absolutely trucked Scott Nichol, which I will always remember because I hated Scott Nichol. Maybe a decent comparable, though.

I'd put a vote in for Josh Green, who I actually loved on the PK.

Reading Gaudette's scouting report,I'd say his game sounds quite a bit like Alex Friesen's.Hopefully he has better puck skills and finish then Friesen but they're not listed as assets there so his upside might be similar,a good AHLer who could develop into a reliable call-up option down the road.

Tough call to separate him from Cedarholm who's ceiling is a #6-#8 stay at home D-man.

I think I'm going to go with LaBate here based on very little except a couple of game reports from Utica and fact the Canucks saw enough in him to offer him a contract.

I remember the Davison signing but can't remember if he stayed with the team the whole season or not.Must have been one of those freak years where most of the D somehow managed to stay healthy the entire season and Davison spent most of the season
