Good prospect. Lots of potential. Don't think he was the best option at #6.
Nathan Horton a good comparison?
Should have taken Ehlers...too much emphasis on Virtanen's hometown.
Lots and lots of potential also him being the youngest makes me happy. Didn't know he was ranked as the most physical. I knew he was the quickest, but being the most physical is a nice thing to see. The Pacific is a tough tough division.
Haven't watched Virtanen in action, is his game comparable to Evander Kane?
Bit of a crash and bang winger with great wheels and a nice shot?
Does have have top line potential, or is a second line winger the more realistic ceiling for him?
Exactly this. He's a Canuck now and I'll be hoping for him to pan out, but I can't help but feel we didn't take the BPA.Good prospect. Lots of potential. Don't think he was the best option at #6.
His draft+1 year will be very interesting to watch. Because of his age, it would be better to judge him based on the median between this year and next compared to some others in the draft.

He's 17 and scored 45 goals this year. I like that
45 goals in 71 games as a true 17 year old, powerforward style. Potential is definitely there, we need to settle the **** down.
Welcome to Vancouver
Good Luck you will need it hahahahah
