Seabrooks contract is ugly.

As a Canucks fan personally I would be looking at something like Seabrook+2018 1st+Jokiharju

Not sure what the Canucks send back but any of Sutter Ganger MDZ Granlund and late picks to balance it out.

Canucks have to seriously think about future contracts in this scenario. it may have repercussions trying to re sign guys like Boeser Petterson, Demko and our next 1st round pick while also trying the possibilities of signing future UFA to complement the roster. Taking on the 7M with out being heavily compensated is a terrible idea.

It`s off topic, but what kind of haul can u get in return for Elias Petterson 1st #5 from 2017 draft, Nucks?
Rangers need a scoring winger/sniper - I see he play in the Center position and on the RW too.

I might be interested to move Lias Andersson for him in return for instant, and he is on a ppg race 2 pts in 2 games, small sample size I know in NHL.

I've said this before. The simple answer to questions like this is he's worth more than anyone is willing to give and worth less than what the Canucks want.

As for any trade that has Seabrook going one way and Eriksson going the other, why? The difference in their salaries is less than a million. So there's no point. The Hawks could send Seabook down to the minors to save roughly the same dollars in cap space without having to give up assets. Not to mention, if the Hawks take Eriksson, they create a hole in their d-corp while only freeing up minimal dollars to plug it.
