I don’t like this idea. The Canucks need as many one year contracts as they can get to take away cap space while still expiring after this season where hopefully a new non Benning gm can use it. If he saves any money on a trade he’s gonna wanna use it and we know what happens when Benning signs players. Term term term.

This is where I'm leaning too. We need a 3C, but I don't think Sutter is a good 3C, he should be 4C, but at his price tag, we can't line him up there. We just have too many other overpaid forwards to bring in another for extra years.

Vancouver is welcome to Brodziak for a late pick though.
