Word is that Ottawa is trying to pick up a couple of veteran wingers to get them through this season, while their prospects ripen on the vine in Belleville.....so why would they be interested in Gaudette, even if the Canucks were willing trade him, which they're not?

A far more likely candidate for the Sens would be Sven Baertschi.

I would do the deal if Ottawa picks up Eriksson at no retained salary as well as sending back a prospect.
