With the win, Raps are tied for the best record in the league. They're also 2nd in points scored per game, 6th in points allowed per game, and 1st in point differential. Portland and Golden State are the only other teams in the top 10 at both ends of the court, and both score fewer and allow more points than the Raptors.

If Raptors improve their game in the paint, Which it seems like they could do a lot of it internally with JV developing, they could be favourites for the East. But right now their weakness in the paint has me putting them behind Chicago and Cleveland (even though they have started slow)

It's funny because even when Phoenix kept hitting those 3's and they took the lead briefly, you always felt the Raptors would come back and win, like a certainty. It's great having that feeling about your team and it being real. They remind me if the Pistons with Ben Wallace- not the same kind of team, just that as a 12-man unit they were really tough to beat, no stars and battled you every night for 48 minutes.

Chicago spanked us for 1 quarter. Let's see what happens next time, but no one else in the east scares me at all.

Honestly all of the raps problems could be addressed with 1 player.

- They're a bottom 5 team in rebounding
- They get beat in the paint
- Their assists per 100 possessions is bottom 10

Just get a big guy in the paint who can kick the ball out. This team becomes elite.

Perfect fits...

Andre Drummond - a double/double machine, just under 7 feet and thick
DeAndre Jordan - him and ross would get fed by lowry and GV, turning into a doubel/double guy, same size
Omer Asik - Last year would of been the best time to pick him up, but with davis there maybe he's moveable
Andrew Bogut - No way GSW moves him, but would be nice

And my favourite player
Joakim Noah - Everything we need wrapped up in one player. Would be amazing.
