Which guys from the USHL will get drafted, and where will they go in the draft? I know of Justin Abdelkader, Ben Bishop, Brock Bradford, Joe Finley, Christian Hanson, and Zach Bearson, but is there anyone else? I'm having trouble judging the USHL as a guy like, Chad Rau, who was with the U18 Team USA, and had 71 PTS in 57 games, and I've heard he likely won't amount to a lot at all. Also, we have a guy like, Tom Gorowsky, who didn't go into the weak 2004 draft, as he likely wouldn't have got drafted. He had a good year this year, but if he wasn't good enough for the weak 2004 draft, will he be good enough for the deep 2005 draft?

Any help would be great!

Players are drafted based on NHL potential, not what they've accomplished in Junior A hockey.

Rau is a good player for where he's at but as far as pro potential, who knows. Some team will likely take a late round flyer on him based on where he's going to play (Colorado College). Look at Trevor Smith, had more points than Brock Bradford but likely won't be drafted either.

Latest list of skaters and goalies here. I'm guessing no less than 30-40 guys from the USHL will get drafted this year.

Whatttt???

11 players (including goalies) were drafted from the USHL last year. It's a great league but I highly doubt it will ever have 30-40 kids drafted per year.
