The US-Russia game is scheduled on Dec.25 at 8:30 (ET), but the game will not be shown until Dec.26 at 2:00 (ET). Also, the US-Swiss game is scheduled on Dec.27 at 8:30 (ET), and will be shown at on Dec.28 at 1:00(ET). This is just to let everyone know in case they want to watch the game without knowing the score. I believe both of the games will be shown live on ESPN2 for people in that live in the US.

Tournament schedule:

I think the fact that they dont have to fly their hockey analysts half-way around the world has something to do with it.

Hopefully the US team will do well and the media will pick up the 'miracle'ness of it. (Even though it obviously wouldn't be much of a miracle if they won)

They didn't even fly them half way across the country. This must be the USA Hockey program's guys I never heard them before and they suck at that.

Oh well at least its hockey.

I want to see Canada though.

Can someone please give me a game summary through the 2nd period. I just saw on the Score ticker it was 5-4 USA at end of 2. I'm hoping Schremp is lighting it up.

Damn I wish TSN would've shown this game, it could be one of the best games of the tourneys IMO.

just came back from the game. one of the best hockey matches i have witnessed in years. i can now die happily. the russians are so dazzling. ovechkin is a man in a boys tournament. kuboidin (sp?) was superb. schremp is a terrific stickhandler but didn't really stick out like suter, fristche, and O'Sullivan from what I remember.

I think he only saw like 2 shifts, but he did get a goal off of a sharp angle shot that trickled in through the pads of the russian goalie. I for one would of liked to see him more because of his all-world talent other than just on the power play.

TSN is showing a tape delay of the USA Russia game on the 26th at 2pm EST, 11am PST.
They showed football instead of airing the game live. Couldn't they just pipe into the ESPN feed?
