I was thinking about this one. The Lions are generally competing despite their record, they're not the worst team in the league to me. I take them against the Texans or Jets tbh and I think they can upset a lousy Eagles team too.

When Red Zone went to the Lions/Rams game on Sunday, I was impressed by what I saw. The Rams were a better team (And the Lions got screwed by a Pass Interference call) but the Lions kept it close. I just see this game as the Lions are playing at home, and the Eagles are not a good team. If there is a good shot to get that first win, this week could be it, and I didn't want to take an obvious pick.

I missed last week but didn’t matter because it would’ve been the Broncos.

Lions home underdogs, I know they’re the Lions but they do not deserve to be 0-7, and the Eagles don’t deserve to be 2-5. Eagles run defense is atrocious, pass defense not much better if even any different, really seems to come down to whether or not they want to be there. Lions meanwhile do seem to be playing hard. This is a spot for them and if they don’t they have to start benching Goff.
