2013 has been an amazing draft so far.

Lazar in first round = we know how that's been

Hogberg in 3rd round = Has posted some stellar numbers in Sweden relative to his age, a great SHL starter already at age 19-20 and big development coming up next year. Love this guy.

Lindberg: We know how this been for 4th rounder

Harpur: 4th rounder: Was drafted as defensive defender but has developed excellent offensive complementary side. Real dark horse, and his offensive development can give him real NHL future down the line

Dunn: 5th rounder: Loved this pick and was developing beautifully until a very stalled year in development with personal issues and troubles for him this year. Expecting bounceback in AHL

LeBlanc: 6th rounder: Had great year in NCAA first year but stalled development in 2nd year

Shore: 6th rounder: Was developing very very well for a 6th rounder and even managed to make USA u-20 team last year posting some excellent numbers relative to his draft position in NCAA first couple years but stalled a bit to improve this year yet still put up good numbers. This year will be big development year.

2014:

Englund: 2nd rounder: Mainstay in SHL but struggled a bit however the guy is a defensive defender at age of 19 playing against men so next year will be better indication of how he's doing.

Gendron: 3rd rounder: Quite disappointing season in BCHL, don't know if he suffered injuries or personal problems but heading to NCAA next year, was really a boom or bust type pick for a 3rd rounder

Eiserman: 4th rounder: Was a project pick for sure, a true definition of a powerforward, had a meh season in NCAA but then again if he had a great season, combined with his role it would have been stellar, lets see how he does next year.

Summers: 7th rounder: Steady 2 way d-man with good NCAA first year numbers and play, better indication next year.

Perron: 7th rounder: Best pick thus far(in terms of development) for a 7th rounder this guy had great year in Q. Doubled his goal total from last year, speed to burn, selected to all-stars game did well in that too, really turned some heads around and one of the best players for his team, 2nd in team points.

In terms of 2014, Gendron and Englund disappointed, but as D men in their respective situations, a lot can change. Englund could really benefit from switching over to the CHL like Lindberg, but don't expect that to happen. He's definitely a long term type of prospect. Gendron (happy birthday) is much of the same. We'll see how he fares once in the NCAA. I like smooth skating D, and he's now in the long development track going into college as a 19 year old.

Summers had a great freshman year. He's from the CCHL like Boro and went the Ivy league route.

Perron is the real steal of out 2014 draft. PPG+ slippery winger that will remind you of Hoffman. I wouldn't be surprised if every other pick busted but this guy redeemed our draft like Stone in 2010.
