Who are some players who you feel didn't get the recognition they deserved based on their play this season?

As a bored Oilers fan who is in pain watching this year's playoffs, I looked around at some of the league's best underrated stats this season. Add yours! Doesn't have to be stats-based. I did a quick look over the Atlantic to get it started.

Johnson 29-18-47
Gallagher 33-19-52
Debrusk 27-15-43
Larkin 32-41-73
Huberdeau 30-62-92
Hoffman 36-34-70

Esa Lindell

11 goals, 32 points:
2 shorthanded goals (led the Stars)

4 powerplay goals (5th on the team while only averaging 1:10 per game of powerplay time)

5 even strength goals

7th in the NHL in total TOI, 5th in shorthanded TOI per game

Completely dominant season defensively. Often times kills the full 2 minutes of a penalty. Ex: in Game 1 he played 7 of the 8 PK minutes that the Stars had

I also think Roman Polak is worthy of a mention in this thread. Played top 4 minutes all season long on the 2nd best defensive team in the NHL (with Heiskanen as his partner but still impressive that he was able to last). Who would've thought?

Went from almost having Erik Karlsson in our top 4 to having to play Roman Polak there

Hischier scored at a slighty higher pace than last year (47 in 69) with 77% of that being ES production - all of this with Hall out 49 games, an abysmal season and roster most of the year, and yet managed a +/- of 0 on a team with a goal differential of -53

I'm probably repeating myself here (again), but just bear (or cat) with me :)

Alex DeBrincat probably didn't get too much of recognition from his really strong sophomore season
41 goals and 76 points, led all sophomores in goals, points & ppg.

Had the fewest of ice time per game (17 and change) from 30,40,50 goal scorers.
(played about 5 minutes less per game what Patrick Kane)

Broke some Hawks franchise records, passed several Hawks legends,
had the shot of becoming the first Hawk in franchise history to lead the team in goals
as a rookie and as a sophomore.

Alex is not even 4 months over 21 years of age, he started the season as a 20 year old.

2nd shortest (Alex is 5 foot 7) player ever to score 40+ goals in the NHL
- shortest is Theo Fleury (5 foot 6), his single season record is/was 51 goals, next season ya? :)

I feel like Trouba isn't really thought of as an offensive guy, but he put up 50 points.

Anthony DeAngelo 30pts in 61gp, first even half season he’s played in his career. Leading scoring dman on the Rangers, and the best defensively as well. Undefeated in several fights, leads team in PIM, leads team dmen in +/-, 12th in points in the NHL among dmen U24, and the rangers generate more high danger scoring chances when he’s on the ice than any other team in the league does with any defensemen. So for example the Rangers generate more high danger scoring chances with DeAngelo on the ice, than San Jose (a much superior team) does with Karlsson.
