I was going to vote over until my brain kicked in and remembered it's a 56 game season. I was going to say 45 points in 82 games is almost inevitable. But 45 in 56 is one I'd lean toward him not reaching.

I would love for him to be over, but he'll probably will fall just short of that, which would still be an awesome season for him, especially considering it's only his 2nd year and wasn't even seen as an NHL ready prospect prior to last season.

I got him right around there if he stays healthy. I voted under just because I don’t think many players will play every game this season due to fatigue, rest, COVID, injuries, etc.

Exactly how I voted. But I think Suzuki is a ~0.8 PPG guy going forward. Good chance he misses a few games there and there. His overall play, impact, physical play will continue to improve

ill easily take that under. he only had 41 in 71 last year, and now needs to get 45+ in a maximum of 56 games (and he probably will miss a few like most)

lets say he manages 53 games..he needs to be a 0.85ppg player. He was a 0.58ppg player last year.

14g/39pts is my bet

Last year was his rookie year so the 41 point in 71 games is not so relevant to this season. He has developed so much since then. He put up 7 points in 10 games in the playoffs and is PPG to start the year. He’s already the Habs first line centre. He started his rookie year as the 4th line RW. Also how do you know he’s going to miss a few games?

That was his rookie year, a year in which he clearly got better towards the end of the season and that carried into the playoffs and this season.

He also started the season on the bottom six with limited minutes, and only later in the season became a permanent fixture on the PP.

This season he's the de facto #1 season and he gets 1st PP wave. Completely different contexts.

Yep. I hate to leave it with "just watch the guy," but his game is night and day now compared to the first half of last year.

Accidentally voted over, but I would think he gets close. Probably around 35-40 to end the year.

I predict he is going to get injured and miss enough games to not reach the money line.

C'mon bro, we need him! :(
I think 1-2 weeks won't make much of a difference in Montreal's success. But it hurts his point totals.

I'm not saying he breaks his leg and misses the season, or suffers a difficult head injury that derails his career. Though anything is possible.

45 points in 56 games is a 0.8 PPG, equals about 65 points in an 82 game season. I have him hitting at least 45 points. The guy is a stud.

1G, 2A in 3 games to start the year.

I honestly think over. Kids good.

hurts to say as a leafs fan. Lol
