This is board related but not hockey specific so I thought this would be a good place.

Is there a way to completely ignore one of the prefixes? NPPG threads annoy me, especially since I have no interest in them so I ignore each one individually but I'd love to ignore the prefix and not have to mess with it.

Thanks in advance and no I'm not bashing people that play it.

I don't think so. If there is, I haven't found a way to do it.

You won't believe this

Gardein now makes vegetarian Nashville hot "chicken"

I got some at Walmart

I just might pair it with Kraft mac and cheese (Kraft is one of the NHL's sponsors)

*Vegan all of Gardein's products are fully vegan.

I didn't like the hot chik'n too much, but I never liked the real thing either. It's just not my flavor, I'm a simple buffalo wing person.

Had a great night in Philly. The Flyers in-arena presentation isn't nearly as robust as the Predators but adequate, the home team scoring five in the third helped with that though.

Getting to and from the game was a breeze thanks to the subway. Nashville is so frustrating to get around in, I wish all of the government leaders and voters could travel to some cities with real public transit and see what we're missing.

My biggest takeaway of the night however was that Flyers fans also do the "SUCKS!" during introductions, so don't let them rag on our chants!

That's funny, I'm down the turnpike, on the other side of the state from you right now!

Well could use some suggestions for a streaming service that carries Fox Sports Tennessee. Just got a notification that Sony will be shutting down Playstation Vue at the end of January.

SlingTV used to carry regional Fox Sports, but they are in a contract stalemate now for many months. YoutubeTV carries FS TN.

Roku? You can download the Fox Sports Go channel and NBCSN channel, but that might require registration with a provider login. It looks like you can also cast Fox Sports Go from a phone to smart TV/Device. Roku Premier is like $35-40 in stores right now.

It might not be a solution for you specifically, but it's an option.

Yeah pretty sure both of those still require provider access. We've found a few options, just stinks because Vue had just gotten NHL network finally lol

Same boat I'm in. Haven't even had PSVue for a month yet but was really enjoying it compared to the Directv bill I used to have.

Hoping that YoutubeTV picks up the NHL network. That was the deciding factor for me between the two. Well, that and PSVue offered the redzone channel for $10 extra a month. The good news is I'll have it for the rest of this football season.

If you're in Nashville Xfinitys prices are pretty close. I pay 119 a month for cable and internet.

I paid "90$" for Xfinity cable and internet. Great deal on paper. However, by the time my promotion was close to ending my actual bill was closing in on 130$ a month. I decided I was never playing that game again.

Now it's streaming TV. For internet I use Xfinity promotional deal 50$ a month for 12 months. When my promotional deal is about to run out I check to see what specials AT&T is running in the area. I call Comcast and let them know I have no loyalty and would rather not switch, but I'm going with whoever has the cheapest service. They pretend they don't price match and we do the tango for a few minutes. Not once have I ever got off the phone without them matching the AT&T offer.

I pay $80 after all fees to DirectTV. Choice Xtra plus HBO. Out of contract so I just call them up once a year when my bill goes up and threaten to cancel. Works like a charm. Just don't see a good reason at that price to change to an internet TV provider.

Looks like predfan and I basically do the same thing with different companies. Honestly I really need to take a look at bundling my Xfinity internet with TV instead of having two separate services but the DirecTV feed is better in my area.

I've tried that with Direct TV. For whatever reason I get guys that won't buckle.

Thanks for the options.

the best strategy is to call the cancelation line. See what you can get there and if they don’t budge go ahead and cancel but set your date about 2 weeks out. You’ll get a call or email with a good deal shortly after.

Did that, they offered me $5 bucks off lol. There is a reason I don't have them.

AT&T didn't the last time I called, I cut it off an went to Hulu Live, 30 days later AT&T calls me and offers me 1 year of u200 for $32 a month, which also made my fiber bill go down $20 a month, so essentially I got u200 for $12. I got real excited but then I get the bill and they charge me $10 for HD service and $10 for my remote receivers, so then I'm back up to $32 a month.

Isn't that always the way?

You folks do not want to know what we pay for cable and internet and I would be embarrassed to type it out. Our son in law worked for them back around 2009 ish and he found a deal for us--and it was truly great until our contract expired.
We got into a version that is basically everything except for the porn and and pay per view stations. They don't even offer such a thing anymore.

Mr. Admiral will NOT renegotiate with Comcast (and doesn't want me to, either) because he remembers those early contracts and knows Google Fiber will someday come to our neighborhood and that will be the savior product he's been waiting for. Google Fiber is his Great Pumpkin. It's been way over the various past contract lengths at this point but he won't negotiate. He wouldn't even sign on for the Xfinity upgrade (4-5 years ago now) "just in case" so we still have the old school hunt and find version. We're both stubborn and don't want to give up certain stations so as it stands we're dinosaurs with cable that bleeds us dry every month. But we do have Fox Sports TN.

I use YouTube TV right now. I've also used Hulu with live TV and Sling TV. Sling is currently in negotiations with Fox and not carrying FS channels so they're out for this season. The DVR on YouTube is far superior to Hulu, and they both have local channels too for college and pro football. So YouTube is, in my opinion, the way to go right now for Preds fans who want to stream their TV service.
