Let's have a bit of fun and change our minds since most of our best players got sold.

I'm asking people to take position and vote for who they think will end up the best "when all is said and done". All factors have to be taken into account (skill, skating, hockey sense, potential, likelihood of reaching it, leadership, physicality, etc)

Ask yourself this question :

Who among this pool of players would I draft BPA? It's basically an organizational RE-DRAFT of all players under 25 y/o. Who are our most important assets, in order?

Under 25 y/o Sens Players Ranking

1- Thomas Chabot (D) 91.7%
2- Brady Tkachuk (LW) 37.3%

3- Erik Brännström (D) 70.8%
4- Drake Batherson (RW) 70.8%

5- Colin White (C/RW) 48.1 %
6- Logan Brown (C) 67.4%
7- Christian Wolanin (D) 61.2% (Tie-Breaker)
8- Jacob Bernard-Docker (D) 40.6%
9- Josh Norris (C) 34.1%
10- Alex Formenton (LW) 28.8%
11- Rudolfs Balcers (LW) 56.2% (Tie-Breaker)
12- Anthony Duclair (LW/RW) 33.3%
13- Christian Jaros (D) 53.3% (Tie-Breaker)

Give me Lajoie here. Vlasic-lite. He's gotten so underrated here but I guess that's recency bias.

What he showed in the NHL at just 20-21 yrs old this year was very very good. His first 15-20 games were legitimate top-4 play. He tailed off in his last 20 games or so but we also now know that we was injured towards the end. With a good summer of training I think he has the potential to reproduce what he did in those first games over a full season.

After the top-15 it gets pretty dicey.

Management have been touting Gustavsson as the goalie of the future. Haven't ever seen him play but I'll trust that management see's something special in him.

Also didnt realize Lajioe was still available before i voted. He had a really good rookie season despite its ups and downs. He still needs to put on some man strength to help him as a shut down Dman.

I think at this point that the question marks for these guys just got a big bigger. Thought that all the guys voted before tierney had a smaller question mark above their heads.

Can Lajoie be more than a bottom pairing D-man?

Can Chlapik grab a top-9 role in the NHL?

Abramov has some serious issues about size and speed.

Veronneau, really hard to project at this point too

Davidsson just got concussion problems

Tychonick, Crookshank, Gruden, Mandolese are too far away and too hard to predict at this point.

Goalies are goalies

Paul and Harpur are more depth players.

Probably be time for Lajoie, goalies and Chlapik.

The great Tierney debate is finally over

Lot of guys in the same range here, imo. Could see this almost anyone left being worthy of a pick at this spot.

Yeah I guess he is the perfect benchmark.

"Do you think this guy will be better than Tierney?"

- yes

- oh so potentially a top-6 forward!

or

"Do you think this guy will be better than Tierney?"

- no

- oh so a bottom-6 forward?
