Anderson looked a lot better than I was anticipating, but there was a little bit too much respect in there. It felt like both of them could have turned it up a notch or 2.
I thought for sure this was Anderson's last fight. He's 43. He was in tears at the weigh in. He thanked God a few times for "1 more time". He stayed around for the octagon interview. Then nothing. In the post fight press conference, he said he wants to fight Nick Diaz in his home town. I'm not a big fan of watching over the hill legends continue to fight, but that one would be a lot of fun.
I watched some of the TUF season with Montana De La Rosa. She looks a helluva lot better. I don't know anything about that girl she fought, but that was complete domination.
I understand Alvey being upset about the stoppage while giving the thumbs up, but he should just be thankful that Crute didn't blast him into another dimension after the initial knock down.
