Yikes, Polska loses two to nil to effin' Slovenia. We're still going to make it through easily, but I had high hopes for this generation of players who've done nothing except fail. We're Africa of Europe fams.

Interesting to see SMS benched for Serbia. I remember there were people parading around how much better he was than Pogba.

Portugal with 75% of the ball in the first 15 minutes over Serbia but I get see them getting stifled with another draw here. Especially away to Serbia.

The second 15 minute segment has Serbia asserting themselves on the ball much better but they didn’t create any real chances. Ronaldo missed a complete sitter against the run of play.

William Carvalho puts Portugal up 1-0 in the 42nd minute on blunder between Serbian defender and keeper on an incoming cross.

The transfer was 4 years ago and before fees really exploded, of course it looks small in today's market.

It's like saying United should have got 300m for a prime Ronaldo.

Yeah, i know. But since City has no limit they could have easily set a new record and asked for as much as PSG payed for Neymar and Mbappé. City would have payed anyway.

Attention Barcelona fans-

Semedo subbed off for Cancelo due to suffering an injury. Kolarov received a yellow card on the play.

Serbia get one back on a great header off a corner through Milenkovic. Patricio forced into a great save immediately upon the restart.

Ronaldo with his 89th international goal from a great through ball from Bernardo puts Portugal up 3-1 in the 80th minute.

Bernardo easily MOM for Portugal but the starting front 3 all scored.

They really have some great attacking options with Ronaldo, Bernardo, Bruno, Felix and Guedes. Fullbacks Guerreiro and Semedo/Cancelo also add a nice element to the offense.

Group A
Kosovo - Czech Rep 2:1
England - Bulgaria 4:0

Kosovo with one of the biggest wins in their young history coming from behind against the Czechs while an easy win for England. Kosovo travel to England on Tuesday, if England win they will finish 1st with no problems. Czechs have a tricky match away to Montenegro and need a result. Kosovo have tough fixtures so still aren't completely safe in 2nd

Group B
Lithuania - Ukraine 0:3
Serbia - Portugal 2:4

Important win for Portugal, their first in this group but the good news for them is 4 of their last 5 matches are against Luxembourg and Lithuania (still have an away match in Ukraine though). Ukraine in good shape to qualify though everybody behind them has games in hand. Serbia in basically a situation where they can't drop anymore points, the good news for them is they have the NL backup + their fixtures aren;t too bad until the last MD, they still play Luxembourg twice and Lithuania once before Ukraine at home on the final MD

Group H
Iceland - Moldova 3:0
Turkey - Andorra 1:0
France - Albania 4:1

All three favorites won, with Turkey needing a late goal to beat Andorra; these three are all on 12 points at the moment and all three have favorable fixtures in the next MD, only with Iceland going to Albania as a potential tricky game while France host Andorra and Turkey go to Moldova. This will go down to the final round most likely between Turkey and Iceland for 2nd

Henrik Mkhitaryan just scored the most important goal in Finnish football history this far. I bet the bars here in Tampere absolutely erupted :thumbu:

Bosnia on top of Armenia basically playing 30 yards from their goal but can’t break them down. Armenia were decent in the opening 20 minutes though

What a goal by Armenia! The passing before the goal was impressive and mostly one touch stuff and Mkhitaryan finishes pretty much top corner

A questionable yellow card for Dzeko to put it mildly. Should have been a penalty but the ref thought he dived. But a great call if you ask us Finns.

3:2 Armenia :D

Two great passes including the final cross from Mkhitaryan and good finish at far post. I see more goals in this as Bosnia have to throw everything forward
