2 insane cross-ice pass! also a very smart play where he bring the puck slowly in the corner, drags everyone on him, lets his Dman gets closer for a shot and perfect pass!

He lost the opening face-off. But regardless, he's off to a good start. There were just a few moments he fell a little too easily when challenged. I'm far from worried about that.

it's also mid ish summer, for a guy who isn't a pure natural skater, not skating for a little while could be mehhhh. he's balance could only be due from constance growing. like you said it's realy not a concern!

that's definitely one thing I noted in his highlights. He needs to be stronger on his feet too. Not too worried but definitely needs to be addressed.

One thing Kotkaniemi is good at is finding his teammates. He was in the corner at one point and no real options available, he was able to diagonally find his defenseman who was on the blue line, though he mismanaged the pass and the puck went out of the zone.
