Any chance Hillis, Mcshane get an invite?

Interestingly enough all 3 of McShane , Hillis AND Fonstad were on the Team Canada U-18, but the only to produce it looks like was McShane 6 points in 5 games, while Hillis and Fonstad 0 pts in 5 games, but didnt seem to be used too often

they might get an invite, but their play over the first half of the next season will really determine things

U.S. Blue, White Rosters Set For 2018 World Jr Summer Showcase

Poehling is on Team Blue, Primeau on Team White.

Also they added Primeau's assistant coach at Northeastern as an assistant coach for Team USA U-20.

Josh Brook won't take part in the Showcase. He's still recovering from his injury



Though he is training. In the Off-Season thread, I posted a small video from Plekanec's Instagram where he, Brook, Fleury, Verbeek, Plant, and Tyszka are doing off-ice training drills.

Dont think this effects Brooks chances of making the team in december.

Tim Hunter is his head coach in Moose Jaw. If Brook plays well in the WHL, the canada brass will know it... and if he doesnt then they will know that too.

Too bad, was really looking forward to seeing Brook and Ikonen. We are still spoiled from the guys we do get to see, though. Really hoping they fully recover.

The NHL Network (US) and TSN had the games last year, but no word yet on if they are doing it again.

Found this article from May that said it's $99 to get a ticket for all 11 games. but they said the tv was still not announced.
