Who are some actors that always seem to play the same type of roles but you still consider good actors?

Kyle Chandler comes to mind for me. He's very often playing a role where he's a no-nonsense authority figure or family-man, and he VERY rarely does any type of accent. That being said, I still think he's awesome in those roles.

Not quite the same but...Sean Bean playing a character that dies. If he's a good guy it's a noble death. if he's a bad guy it's usually an amazing scene, but the end result no matter what is usually a good movie/show.

The late Powers Boothe was an awesome actor who only really played villains or political figures. He should have been up there with Tommy Lee Jones but always remained a character actor.
