That line in general has been having a really hard time in their own end, and lose the puck so easily in the offensive end as well.

They are often caught flat footed along the boards, it's very easy for Tampa to just jump in and disrupt an exit/cycling attempt.

The same thing translates to the PP. They've become stationary. The fear of turning the puck over does awful things to a team.

When he’s not scoring he is such a boring, slow player to watch. Not good enough in transition and he’s not getting any faster. Stick him in the bottom 6 and let him feast on worse competition.

I disagree. He is very smart defensively and always has an active stick, causing turnovers. A bit slow yeah, but not boring.

He's been on fire the whole year. Given his lack of speed the matchup is bad for him against Tampa. Give the dude a break, he's carried us here. And it's not like he's not trying.
Exactly - Toffoli is still 2nd in scoring on the team these playoff...

Also Point came into this series avg close to 1.5PPG, and has 1-point in 5GP so far.

Habs fans always got someone on target.

This and this.

I hope moving forward, Toffoli and KK can form a great duo with chemistry. Would be great to have a second offensive duo after Suzie-CC. Would be great for KK to get to play with Toffoli.

Then hopefully Gallagher and Anderson can find seats/niches on those top 2 offensive lines - or Evans. We have a plethora of good defensive forwards that can play with Phil on a shutdown line.

Calm down guys, he's most definitely injured. He couldn't skate and couldn't handle the puck.

He was great over half the year and had a couple good series. No showing the finals obviously sucks but I'd rather have Toffoli at 4.25 than Gally at 6.5 or Tatar/Drouin at 5+.

f***ing ghost, 4.5M is too much.
Yeah... no. If that's true... there's no one on our roster outside Suzuki, Kulak, and maybe Lehkonen worth their money. He was signed to be a freaking 3rd liner... and we're mad at him cause the rest of our team is garbage. That's not his fault. He's got basically zero support after Suzuki.
