Yashin's peak is probably a bit higher than Seguin's (assuming we've already seen it). If I needed a player for one game or series, probably peak Yashin. But over their entire primes, I'd probably take Seguin.

Yashin was probably the better player, but taking into account all of his hold outs, I'd easily take Seguin.

Not sure how much you’d wanna take Yashin for a playoff series. He only had 27 points in 48 playoff games. He followed up his two best regular seasons with 2 first round sweeps, totalling 1 assist in 8 games.

That’s not fair at all most of his playoff games were as a teenager

So? Plenty of teenagers have performed well in the playoffs.

He also had productive playoffs the previous 2 years, and was the best player on NYI against TOR.

All that said, Seguin's prime is going to be far longer than Yashin's simply because he's a much better athlete. It's not close. So, no question, it's Seguin.
