Two #1 centers, harder to find those guys than Dmen.

Teams can find a way to win without even one #1 Dman, Pittsburgh is the most recent example and Nashville arguably has 3 maybe 4 #1 Dmen.

It's so hard to find a 1C in the NHL... You'd have to pick in the top 5 in the draft for the most part. Where it's possible you can find a 1D in the 2nd round.

Tampa Bay: "Why not both?"

I voted for two 1Cs
Pittsburgh: Crosby, Malkin
LA 2012-2014: Kopitar, Carter

Nashville/San Jose were good examples of two 1Ds but came up short. Although you can argue San Jose had Thornton (Hart-worthy 2015-16 year) and Couture were that combo when they had Vlasic and Burns in the cup final.

Gotta put the puck in the net and with the right system a team can thrive with weaker D (Pittsburgh had a brutal D on paper in 2016 after round 2 I believe).

Crosby/Malkin or Burns/Karlsson?
Probably the Cs because we know that works
