Ångermanland-Västerbotten 3-4
Goal S.Robertsson 3, E. Wahlberg 1, Ångermanland N.Persson, T.Wikner, E.Larsson?
This pre-season tv-puck game showed that Robertsson will be hard to stop and the first line Will be even better if/when Max Johansson returns to the ice. Defensmen Salomonsson played s great game today and if S.Aho joins him Västerbotten Will Have a very competitive first unit.
New game on monday against Björklöven J18

Ångermanlands goal was made by: N Persson, A Näsström and W hildebertzon.
I think Ångermanland surprisly was the better team in 45 minutes. But some really bad minutes in the third period destroyed the night. Västerbotten has a good team with Robertsson in front. In Ångermanland the best was Sollefteå guys hilderbertzon and Persson. And Modo players Jacobsson and Näsström aswell. Näsström who had a big night in fridays game with 4+1 in 5-2 Victory. In sunday Ångermanland play against Örnsköldsvik hockeys j18 team.

Ångermanland was the better team playing better hockey then Västerbotten did as a team. Robertsson showed that he himself can change the game result even if he didn´t have the strongest players around him this day. Max Johansson is missing and one defender in first line was very weak. The defense was much better and stronger in Ångermanland then Västerbotten this evening which was surprising. Aho is definately a key player for Västerbottens team and need to come back to playoffs. Ångermanland is the joker in this years Tv-puck and can surprise.

J18-Västerbotten 6-3. After the first period Västerbotten had a 3-1 lead - after that the older guys started to crash the net and played a more fysical game.
Västerbotten loked a bit tired in game with many faces.
Elias Salomonsson looked surprisingly strong and was the best player. Oliver Sjöström also god and Simon Robertsson did a ok game against Björklövens 01-guys.
Both teams is able to play on a higher level. Norrcupen is coming up and i guess Västerbotten with S. Aho and Storm Storjord in the team will improve the level of the game.

I received a report from the match between Upplands TV puck team and Almtuna's J18 Elite team.
Almtuna won comfortably with 8-3.
In large parts of the game, it was a game against one goal, for example, the shots in the first period were 26-3 to the J18 team.
The only times the TV puck team managed to create something was in powerplay.
Could be significantly bigger numbers unless the goalkeeper saved the TV Puck team.
They have a lot to work on ...

Göteborg will be a tough team to beat, good players at all positions and all the key players are playing together on a daily basis. Frölunda U16 are tearing U16 Elit apart even more than usual beating normally strong teams like HV (10-1) and Malmö (9-1) with big scores.

Most people who know the teams more say Stockholm Nord and Göteborg but Nord is in a tricky group with Uppland and Stockholm Syd. First time for two Stockholm teams in the same group?

Looking at the schedule (TV-pucken | stats.swehockey.se) it looks like Göteborg and Skåne will have a good chance to go through to the semi finals but who knows with this tournament. That's what makes it fun.

TV-Pucken Play Off is starting up within a week.
Looking forward to a great Tournament in Östergötland.

My reflections after been watching these Tournaments and League games Live this season:
U16 Norrcupen, TV-Pucken Kval Östersund, Distriktsturneringen Åkersberga-Sthlm and DIF U16 Elit Cup + a lot of Friendship Games, J18 Elit Norra and U16 Elit Norra League Games.

And after watching TV-Pucken Kval in Slite, Gotland and other District Tournaments and League Games at the streaming site: Svenskhockey.tv
I think these Teams are favorites in the Groups and will move ahead to the Quarterfinals.

Group A
Favorites:
1. Göteborg
2. Skåne

Comments: Many people talks about Group C, as the toughest Group.
This Group can even be tougher....
Skåne and Göteborg has great Teams and can go all the way.
Gästrikland and Dalarna has both really good skilled Teams.
Gästrikland = Brynäs IF U16 Elit Team, has done great results so far in the U16 League.

Group B
Favorites:
1. Ångermanland
2. Örebro

Comments: A really open group.
Värmland and Småland has always good Teams and will give Ångermanland and Örebro a tough
fight about the Quarter Final spots.
Ångermanland has played well in all Pre-Tournaments and looks strong as Team without shining stars.
Örebro, is a big and heavy Team and has showed good results so far.

Group C
Favorites:
1. Stockholm Nord
2. Uppland

Comments: A really tough and open Group.
Uppland and Sthlm Nord has the best Team Rosters in this Group player by player.
Stockholm Syd and Medelpad is both hard working Teams and will not be easy to beat.
Looking forward to watch the Game between Sthlm Nord vs. Sthlm Syd.
What a thriller....

Group D
Favorites:
1. Västerbotten
2. Östergötland

Comments: The weakest Group Team by Team.
I think that Västerbotten will win this Group easily with their speed.
Östergötland as Home Team will have a great support from the fans in the Arenas and has more quality players than Västmanland and Södermanland.
So they should together with Västerbotten advance to the Quarter Finals.

My Team Rankings:

++++
Göteborg (A Group)
Skåne (A Group)
Stockholm Nord (C Group)
Västerbotten (D Group)

+++
Gästrikland (A Group)
Dalarna (A Group)
Ångermanland (B Group)
Örebro (B Group)
Värmland (B Group)
Småland (B Group)
Stockholm Syd (C Group)
Uppland (C Group)
Medelpad (C Group)

++
Östergötland (D Group)
Västmanland (D Group)
Södermanland (D Group)

A lot of nerves and pressure will be on all Teams and players as always in TV-Pucken.
The Coaches/Teams/players that can handle this situation best, will have a great chance to win their games.
And the games is only played 2 x 20 min, so one mistake can be fatal for a game.
Some Teams will not manage to be favorites, and can´t handle this pressure.
Injuries and sickness on HQ players, also effects the level of the Teams.
So this ranking and reflections could be totally wrong after summarizing TV-Pucken 2018.

Anyway, I think that the Final will be played between Göteborg against Västerbotten.

Great pre-view, HockeyOlle! I still holds the C group as the toughest though. But both B and especially A are nasty groups as well. D should be very onesided. Im not sure how they seed & draw the teams into groups but this year its a crappy work. I think both the Stockholm teams and Uppland would have progress to the quarters if the groups were seeded/drawn differently. But you never know with TVP, its always some surprises down the line...

(no need to translate tv-pucken btw. :) )
