So I was really worried about this, I mean what's to say they don't just throttle me into frustration in order to get me to just sign up for a cable package anyways.
But the rep had said that I could cast from my phone to the chromecast, now you have made me rethink it. The whole point was to be able to watch sports again...I do not want to worry about buffering and server crashes.

They said you could?
I was just looking into it in case things have changed - but seems like a pretty well-known issue:
From Bell: "The app does not support screen mirroring and screen casting from smartphones or tablets"
https://support.bell.ca/fibe-alt-tv/what_is_fibe_alt_tv?step=2#displayStep

The only thing I did just find thats different is you can use an amazon fire tv stick, which is only $50, so thats not too bad assuming it works.

I’ve got my laptop connected to the tv via HDMI. Works great, but...

Anyone have any idea why the bell tv guide(website on laptop) gives me a blackout when trying to watch any Ottawa game on tsn?

When I use my iPad with the bell app it works fine. No blackouts.

I tried different VPN settings too.

Anyone else have this issue?
