I thought the biggest knock on Bear is his skating and quickness?

I think in his draft year people thought it was good but not great, which is a problem when you are an undersized defenceman. I think its one of his most improved qualities in the last two years, and a huge part of his offense going through the roof after being drafted.

The Hockey news is now calling him "quite mobile". http://forecaster.thehockeynews.com/player/11307

No, I've heard that Panda Bear is really quick.

The Hockey Writers have us ranked in the bottom 3rd at 21. Nothing I can really disagree with either. Having a prospect or 2 play meaningful NHL minutes on an ELC is imperative given the salary cap constraints that are coming.
