The CRA website clearly states the prinary factors and secondary factors thats why I linked. Regardless we're going to go in circles we are essentially on the same side here in the sense that a majority of Canadian players are technically Canadian residents depending on how the CRA deems them; which would then imply that guys like Stamkos and Seguib are still paying some level of Canadian tax while being employed by teams in states with no state tax, correct?

I’ve noticed Hayes has been cutting Noodles off more and more lately before Noodles can get sidetracked with some goalie rant where he’ll talk in circles.

I listen daily but it’s refreshing when the trio is split up here and there.

After watching that CBC special, Paul Marner seems horrendous. Putting kids through that, at that age...awful. I'm sure the other children hated him as well.

Noodles picking Anaheim as his Hill to Die On the other day was bizarre.

I laughed out loud when Hayes called him the Ducks Fan Club

Does anyone mind summarizing what they argued about? Missed it - sounds interesting. Noodles was comparing the Ducks to the Leafs?

he is a joke, he thinks he represents the rest of Canada in tempering leaf nations enthusiasm it really gets on my nerves. He outright talks about the fanbase like every single fan is an idiot. My question to noodles is does Winnipeg radio have a radio person to temper expectations? (I doubt it) same goes league wide. I believe noodles was jealous because he didn't get much attention though his career where as the back up in Toronto is talked about more than other teams number 1 goalies.

odog said Anaheim are brutal, noodles responded by saying imagine if the leafs lost rielly.

odog pointed out "im not talking about the leafs, you do this all the time when we talk about other teams"

I did end up finding it. He doesn't come off well there at all. Especially taking into account he KNEW he was in TV, imagine when cameras weren't there. Both kids seem to really not like hockey in that video. Obviously they do, but it comes across as they dont

Like listening yesterday him thinking about I'll give you (the trainer) 25k to put down 9% for my BMI.

How many people would admit to that (or be willing to make up that story)

Once again Oilers radio astounds me. These guys never see any move the Oilers make as bad and as soon as the coach or GM is fired turn heal and crap all over them.

Yes Chiarelli was a bad GM but 6 weeks ago you were applauding these trades and moves.

    Its embarrassing.

Management and ownerships shills of the highest order.

Maybe Mitch will welcome the opportunity to get away from this pressure when his contract ends... sad to think what would have become of him if he didn't make it .. Majority of Hockey Parents don't get it .. support your kids, encourage them to be good team mates, work hard, have fun !

I don't know how Canadians get their employment income taxed when they are working direct for a US corp and residing in the US. I would guess their employment income is taxed by the IRS. However, if they are still Canadian residents, their investment income is surely taxed by the CRA.

I am in that situation (Canadian working direct for US company)...except for the fact that i also reside in Canada unlike Seguin/ Stamkos. In my case, because I am a Canadian residing in Canada, 100% of my employment earnings go to the CRA. My US employer has to report me on their US filing by law (i fill out forms every year) but there is some sort of legislation/understanding that, as a Canadian residing in Canada, my taxes go to the CRA. I do not file a personal return with the IRS.

Given how many people seem to dislike Andi and the job she’s done hosting Leafs Lunch, I’m surprised to see her up for this.

EDIT: It’s been pointed out that it’s for TV not Radio. She seems fine whenever she’s on TV.

Mats said he’s coming to Toronto in November for hall of fame weekend. Hall of Fame called him to be part of the induction celebrations. My guess is the Hall has an inkling that there’s enough support for Alfredsson’s induction this year. I think Mats was part of Forsberg’s induction a while back too. Maybe even Lidstrom’s?

Aside from that, he again professed his love for Toronto, and said the city will be buzzing come playoff time, and Nylander is fortunate to be a part of such a great team with chances of contention. Said it’s great that the Leafs have 3-4 franchise players on forward alone.

Was really cool to see the dynamic between Mats and Jeff O’Neill. You can tell just how much Jeff respects Mats, and vice versa.

Yeah the Sundin interview was great. I'm surprised his kids are so young.

Sundin and O'Neil were pretty tight in those 2 years O'Neil joined the team. Thanks for that :)
