Rossi is totally over performing Byfield this season in the OHL. (yes Rossi is late 2001 born and Byfield is 2002 born, but still)
Marco Rossi can be higher on some scouts eyes.

Also Sudbury, still not very good team. even still...

While I agree that Rossi is playing fantastic, I think his position is suitable for the time being. Let’s remember that Byfield is carrying Sudbury and was the 1st overall pick for a reason, because Sudbury is not an amazing team. He’s also 11 MONTHS younger than Rossi, and doesn’t have two full grown overagers on a stacked line with him.
