There are four pairs of brothers that have played in the NHL where either one brother scored fifty goals in one season and played for the Habs, or one brother scored fifty with another team and his brother played for the Habs. For example, John Smith scored fifty for the Flyers one year and later played for the Habs, while his brother Jim played one season for the Canucks.

Name them.

I believe the 4 50 goal scorers are:

Rocket Richard, Mickey Redmond, Jean Pronovost & Phil Esposito

The brothers would be:

Henri Richard, Dick Redmond, Andre Pronovost & Tony Esposito

I believe Frank Mahovlich's top season was 49 goals or he and Peter would make this list.

I`m not sure I understand the question. Did one of the brothers have to playing with Montreal the same season the other one scored the 50 goals. If not, then there`s probably lots of examples:

Marcel Dionne- Gilbert Dionne
Pierre Turgeon- Sylvain Turgeon

Based on what my understanding of the question is, then the above posters are right on with the Espositos, Redmonds and Turgeons. If the brother with 50 played for the Habs does that mean the other brother did not? Because that would rule out the Richards. Slightly confusing, but a great question.
