Calgary already has Rittich, Gillies, Parsons in the pipeline. Gillies most likely to be the backup to Smith next season. Seems like a redundant move to get Jarry.

Yeah but Gillies isn't a sure fire, him and parsons will probably be in Stockton again next year. Or if Rittich is moved have gillis up and Jarry and Parsons in Stockton.
