This concludes the LA Kings' draft.

Think the players we added this draft, in addition to many other good ones in the system (Turcotte, Vilardi, Kupari, Kalieyv, Thomas, Fagemo, Anderson-Dolan, Grundstrom, Dudas, Bjornfot, Clague, Durzi, Anderson, Peterson, etc.) has us well stocked for a good future.

    PMing next.

I had a bad at the office. Sorry everyone...

    EDIT:

Can I change the pick if said player goes undrafted?

Guys, I feel like a total asshole for being MIA... but let me explain.

I have two elderly parents who weren't expecting COVID-19. As well as a job that is heavily, heavily impacted.

I've been running around like a chicken without a head trying to keep up. I just can't run the draft, guys... this hit my family like a ton of bricks. I'm hoping that I can run another when things have settled. But this is a massive strain on much of my life (though my gf isn't complaining that we're working from home together... though I've been kind of a dick with everything going wrong.)

I thank everyone for their participation, and I wanna do it again the right way. Before this all came about, I think I showed how much I wanted this to happen. Bigger things now.

Totally understandable and no worries. Real life comes first obviously.

    Best of luck with everything.

I really appreciate how you wanted to conduct this Mock—by providing your isights into players you scouted.

However, your situation is completely understandable. The best of luck for your family's health. We will do this again when things are more normal!

Guys, I'm super grateful for your understanding. I legit felt like a dick pushing dedication, and I was the guy to bail (though for understandable reasons). The fact that you were all so good about it just reinforces my faith in the hockey community.

I will be definitely doing another one, probably over the next week or two as things have started smoothing out at work (we got special permission to have our warehouses open to clear them out in both Ontario and Quebec, since a huge portion of it is government product).

At first, I'll add my insight to the guys who were picked in this draft, as I'd promised.

However, next I will be running a new draft entirely, and will reach out to everyone here who wants to participate for first dibs.

Cheers again, folks. Stay safe out there! One day, they will be teaching kids in school about these times in history class... and we can say we lived it.
