How often do players get cut and then return right away?
Before you cut a player, if you want them back at a lower salary, you would discuss that with the player/agent first and if you can't come to terms then the team opts to cut the player if they view him to not be worth the upcoming salary.

He probably wants to test the market which is understandable, seems like a good person, wish him well.

2nd major injury made this all but inevitable... Sad to see him go but time to move on. I'm happy with Douglas/Benford going forward. As long as we resign Douglas.
