Sorry if this info is posted somewhere, I tried searching and couldn’t find it.

We’re looking at getting tickets for a Jets game in St. Paul this season, do Jets fans tend to sit in certain sections? How is parking around the arena? Anything else we should know about game days there?

Stay down by the arena. Lotsa fantastic places to frequent before and after the game. Make sure to check out Tom Reid's Sports Bar. It's on the strip right by the arena.

    Welcome to the board, Cannoli!

The following thread is from last season's playoffs when we played the Wild in the first round... it might have some of the info you're looking for...

that thread probably covered it but if you want to bump into your players the opposing team usually stays at the St. Paul hotel and end up walking over to the arena via Rice Park and the RiverCentre (building that connects to the arena). most comfortable place to say hello is the Roy Wilkins hall entrance, behind the giant statue of Herb Brooks.

Parking is going to suck this year with the RiverCentre ramp mostly closed. arrive plenty early for spots near the arena (more expensive) or be prepared to walk several blocks.

love Jets fans--even before the Jets were back

i was just here looking to see if there was a GDT for tomorrow with probable lines etc.

Sample the local culture and have a Blucy at the Blue Door Pub on 1811 Selby. A classic Mpls/Stp style neighbourhood pub.

Thanks everyone! I’ll check out that link.

We’re actually pretty familiar with the twin cities (including the Blue Door, yum), we’ve just never gone down for a game.

A bit slow on the GDT today.

    We're sending:

    Copp Lowry Tavev
    Vesalainen Roslovic Ehlers
    Lemeiux Dano

    Buff, Niku, Kulikov, Morrow, Chiarot

As guys that likely actually play for the Jets at some point this season and also:

Lipon, Nogier, Suess, Appleton and Reichel

With Comrie and Broissoit as the tenders.

As some people have already said but I'll reiterate the fact Minneapolis/St Paul is a beautiful place, I've been all over the U.S. and Minnie has to be one of my favorite cities to visit.

    Been a few times
I wouldn’t eat near the Arena..The food is good but All The places are freaking packed before games.. Yes places around MTS are busy before games but nothing like around there.
We find Minneapolis has better restaurants than St.Paul and the night life in downtown Minneapolis (pubs downtown) are really nice.
Public Transit is easier and nicer than WPG and taxies are affordable so we take a cab and split the cost 4 ways with 4 guys
Downtown Minneapolis is clean and safe it’s our go area of the twin cities.. hit the pubs after the game and walk back to your hotel

I head down to the Cities about 3-4 times a year, it's legitimately my favourite city in the US.

Btw, if you want the best Jucy Lucy experience you need to go to Matt's. It's the best.
