Brett Hull was born in Belleville in 64 (summered at the family farm near there), grew up in Illinois, moved to Winnipeg in 72 & played amateur there; moved to Vancouver in 79 (parents Divorced) and played for the North Shore Winter Club & then into the BCJHL. Drafted by Calgary in 84.

No worries. 2 other (older) boys in that family, Bobby Jr. & Blake, played together in the mid-80's for the Flamborough Motts Clamatto's of the OHA Sr.A loop, but alas, I guess you never got to see them as your Barrie Flyers Senior team folded in 79.... Too much information?.

It's completely excusable in Nabakov's place.

He goes from a certain loser, at best Kazakhstan would have won a game in the round robin, to a serious Gold Medal contender.

Until recently several valuable players for team USA hockey were Canadian.

It was annoying.

Just goes to show how much of a powerhouse Canada is though.
