Training Camps 2017

Started this thread to help posters find out when their own team's training camps start

Please add when you're team has announced their schedule along with exhibition games (dates preferred)

Owen Sound's camp runs from August 28 to September 1st before their exhibition schedule starts. September 3rd-4th when they meet the Barrie Colts for a home and home friendly set the Attack will also meet eastern conference North Bay Battalion 16th-17th while they will meet the Oshawa Generals on the 13th of September

FLINT FIREBIRDS

Flint has camp at Flint Iceland Arena on Aug 28, 29, 30.

After that, they're off to play in the OHL PreSeason Showcase thing in Buffalo, Sept 1 (vs Windsor), 2 (vs Erie), 3 (vs North Bay).

Preseason wraps up with home-and-home games against Saginaw...at Dow, Sept 15, and at Iceland, Sept 16.

Isn't every teams camp the same days?? Kinda new to the board and the Major Jr scene there...

Isn't every teams camp the same days?? Kinda new to the board and the Major Jr scene there...

Unfortunately I wish they were but no there not I know of some teams camps being around the same time but there's still teams who have camps in the summer and each team decides when they have each camp and where, that's why this thread was started so that everyone who posts knows when each camp is around the league and allows for fans to find out when the camps start and where they can catch the camps. Most camps are open to the general public for viewing purposes and for fans to get a look see on what each player brings to their OHL team

This post was and is hopefully helpful for not just then hf posters who post on hf boards but so that anyone who reads the board can find out when and where each team's camps starts due to the fact that they all don't usually start on the same day due to events or other sports finishing their summer seasons in arenas and community centres across the league cities

Windsor opens their training camp with players reporting next weekend. On-ice scrimmages/practices are Monday (Aug 28) morning/afternoon and Tuesday morning/afternoon. Wed morning is a scrimmage and Wed eve is Blue-White game.
